Before anything is locked in, we’ll have a relaxed chat to get to know each other, talk about what you’re planning and make sure we’re the right fit.

If it’s a big YES from both sides, then we get to work.

We’ll talk about:

• The kind of ceremony you want to create.

• What you want your guests to feel.

• Your people - family, wedding party and anyone you’d love involved.

• The overall flow and structure of your ceremony.

• Any traditions you want to include, ditch or completely reinvent.

• The practical bits and pieces that make everything run beautifully

This is where the magic happens.

You’ll each complete your own questionnaire - separately, because I want your version of the story.

The things you remember. The things they remember completely differently. The tiny details. The ridiculous moments. The hard seasons. The things you adore about each other. The moments that somehow became your moments.

From all of that, I’ll write your ceremony and tell your love story in a way that sounds like you, not something pulled from a celebrant template and used at another wedding last Saturday.

There’ll be opportunities along the way to chat, refine the details and make sure everything feels right.

And yes, you can call or email me when you need me. There’s no little counter ticking away in the background.

As we get closer, we’ll bring all the moving pieces together.

We’ll confirm your ceremony structure, music, wedding party, entrances, family involvement, readings, rituals and all those little logistical details you probably hadn’t even realised needed thinking about.

You’ll also receive guidance for your rehearsal, and if we decide an in-person rehearsal is needed, we can arrange one subject to availability.

In the final week, we’ll touch base again so everyone knows exactly what’s happening and you can head into your wedding day knowing the ceremony is sorted.

I’ll arrive nice and early.

I’ll set up my professional PA and microphone, connect with your photographer, videographer, venue and other key vendors, check the ceremony space, wrangle whoever needs wrangling and make sure everything is ready to go.

Then it’s time for you to do one thing:

Get married!

I’ll hold the space, guide you through every moment and tell your story in a way that brings your guests right into it with you.

There’ll be laughter. Probably a few tears. Hopefully, a moment where you look around and think, holy shit, these are all our people.

And somewhere amongst all of that, we’ll take care of the very important legal words that actually make you married.

You’ll receive your commemorative marriage certificate, your beautiful vow cards and a copy of your ceremony script to keep.

I’ll take care of lodging your marriage paperwork with Births, Deaths and Marriages and make sure all the legal admin from my end is completed.
